Reformation Bible Society Conference

The 2026 Reformation Bible Society will meet for its annual conference at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Taylors, South Carolina on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 9 am to 5:00 pm. The Symposium is co-sponsored by the Kept Pure in All Ages Conference and the Trinitarian Bible Society (TBS).
The Symposium theme will be “Confessional Bibliology: Defined & Defended” In addition to five plenary lectures and several invited short paper presentations, we are seeking at-large short paper proposals for presentation in concurrent panels meeting in parallel break-out sessions.
This year the short papers may address any topic or issue related to the text and translation of the Bible from a Reformation Text perspective.
The following conditions for these papers have been set:
-presenters should be in agreement with the doctrinal basis of the RBS (especially WCF/2LBCF 1:8).
-papers should have a presentation length of a maximum of twenty minutes (about 12 double spaced pages).
-papers should present new research; language should be English.
-preference shall be given to presenters who are members of the RBS, or to those who hold a Ph.D., M.A., or M. Div. degree.
-proposals should include a title for the paper, an abstract of 100-200 words, a brief profile (1-2 paragraphs) of the presenter (an attached C.V. is also optional).
Please send this proposal, including the titled abstract and profile as attachments, by email to the Executive Committee of the Reformation Bible Society, reformationbiblesociety@gmail.com with the subject heading “2026 RBS Paper Proposal.” The deadline to receive proposals is May 31, 2026.
Papers accepted for presentation in the conference may also be submitted for consideration in full written form by October 31, 2026 for inclusion in the publication of the Reformation Bible Society Journal.
